CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

(AAA) ALL-AROUND ATHLETE: Progression of athletic movements to improve core strength/movement skills, reduce injuries occurring from sports, training & life. Add'l focus on balance/stability, flexibility, mobility, coordination, speed, agility, power, strength & endurance.

BOSU CHALLENGE: Got Balance? You'll sport a rockin' torso plus gain balance (a vital fitness component) in multiple postures, not to mention : Burn a bunch of calories in this class!

Core: (Awesome Abs) Core will engage all the muscles in your torso using some of the more challenging yoga poses, movement with the medicine ball and traditional abdominal exercises. 30 min

Cross Training: A class to increase fitness on many levels. You will perform a multitude of exercises designed to enhance athletic performance by challenging strength, endurance, and stamina.

Drills Bits: Intense intervals (appr. 1 to 3 min) of cardiovascular activities (jump rope, plyometrics, running drills) and strength activities (using free weights, tubing and your own body weight) for a super challenging workout. 30 & 60 min

Fit Moves: 30 minutes of anaerobic-power-endurance… a combination of functional/core strength movements and short rest intervals with the purpose of creating maximal metabolic output while training muscular and neuromuscular systems.

Happy Hour: Steppers will be happy during this hour! Test your cardiovascular endurance by stepping for 45 minutes, then finish with some floor work for the butts and guts.

Heavy Metal: A 30 minute resistance training class using free weights, kettelbells and loaded bars.

Pumpin’ Iron: Enjoy your own personal trainer while you pump up each muscle group using a heavy bar with adjustable plates and dumbells.

Race Training: Come rain or shine, hot or cold, leave the stale indoor environment and challenge your aerobic and anaerobic skills outdoors.  

Rip and Ride: If you like to spin and enjoy resistance work, you'll love this combination of body challenges using the bikes and resistance training alternately.

Saturday Slam: 60 minutes of non-stop cardio intensity using the step alternately with hi-lo impact. This class is Wareing's signature Saturday morning workout!

Spin: A group cycling class to develop cardiovascular stamina and strength. See front desk for pass.

Step Interval: A step interval class alternating step and resistance. (STP INT)

Super Spin: An intense 45 minute spin.

Survivor: Welcome to SURVIVOR, where you will be driven to your own physical limitations as you run, jump and hustle for 60 minutes doing athletic drills, calisthenics and plyometrics.

TABABAT TNT: A super intense class that will blast your workout to another level. 20 sec work/10 sec rest intervals for 8 sets.

TGIF: Instructor choice and member suggestions.

Total Body Workout: This class works the entire body safely and effectively through active stretch, strength work, stability training, core concentration, balance, flexibility & static stretch. Good for ALL ages!

X-Spin: Get the best cross training class using a proven tool (cycle) and the newest in strength training (TRX) mixed in intervals for maximum caloric expenditure working at your own pace and strength level.

X-Spin Circuit: Spin plus stations of TRX, weights, kettelbells etc.
