Crank Up The Music And Raise The Woof
I’ve often been asked, “Lucy, what is the best music to listen to while working out”? Let me tell you my top 3 favorites, and the top 3 you must avoid.
Favorites:
- Gonna Buy Me a Dog by The Monkees: I’m not very fond of monkeys in general. They smell funny and are rude. I do enjoy this quirky tune however, which apparently was produced by a tribe of monkeys. Buying a dog is a smart decision for any human. It can only improve your life.
- Who Let the Dogs Out by Baha Men: A girl like me needs to wag my thang every once in a while.
- Hungry Like the Wolf by Duran Duran: This one gets me pumped for my upper body workouts. It also makes me want to bite somebody. (don’t publish that last part)
Avoid These:
- Eye Of The Tiger by Survivor: Highly overrated. Have you ever been to the zoo? Odds are you will never even see the eyes of a tiger because the tiger will be asleep. Honestly, I’ve never seen any other creature as lazy as cats. I’m still waiting for the song, “Eye Of The Boxer”.
- Dog Eat Dog by AC/DC: Now that’s just inappropriate.
- Hound Dog by Elvis: All I can say to the late “King” is, what goes around comes around tubby.
